Founder of Stellar payment network (aka Stellar Lumens), McCaleb also founded the Ripple protocol and Opencoin, plus Bitcoin exchange MtGox, which he exited in 2011 prior to it bankrupting in 2014 amongst allegations of widespread theft by the new owners.
