Minterest’s View on Ukraine Invasion

A MESSAGE FROM JOSH ROGERS, FOUNDER & CEO OF MINTEREST

Firstly, I would like to unequivocally condemn the invasion of the Ukraine.

International laws were blatantly breached, and this is evidenced by the outcry and engagement of many international agencies and governments, including the International Criminal Court (ICC). Our team is comprised of Belarusians, Russians, Ukrainians and many other nationalities, and we are all unanimous in our condemnation of the invasion.

The impact on our team is direct and severe. Six of our people are currently in the Ukraine, as is our digital design agency. You can rest assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure that they and their families are safe and out of harm’s way.

We are not going to engage in head on debate about the events that are unfolding. This is because there are no winners in this discourse. There are innocent victims on all sides of war, so getting involved with the rhetoric is not going to serve purpose nor person. We feel deeply sorry and distressed for all the victims of this war, regardless of race, nationality, or creed. Instead, we are going to make clear our condemnation and assist our team members and associates to stay safe and supported.

Thank you for your support during this sad and distressing time for our team, our community and indeed the entire world. We sincerely hope that resolution is swift, and the lessons learned enduring.
